Infinity Performance Team

2020 Infinity Performance Team

The focus of each infinity program, is on confidence building, performance skills, technique and stage presence, while instilling traits such as work ethic, energy, focus, positive attitude and camaraderie. As an Infinity member your child will learn how to perform respectfully, the importance of practice and ultimately working hard for what they desire, not only in dance but for life. They will rapidly grow their confidence with regular performances in front of an audience, developing skills, self-leadership and the ability to take responsibility for their own development and progress.

Each year the program is tailored to suit the team chosen.

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT TEAM

For students who are ready to take their passion to the next level. This team will train each Thursday to strengthen their skills and gain experience working in the fast paced infinity training. This is perfect for the 8-12 year old student not quite ready for the full infinity year, but wanting to gain experience and training. Each development team dancer must be doing a minimum of these prescribed classes: 1 x Ballet | 1 x Contemporary | 1 x Jazz

JUNIOR INFINITY PERFORMANCE TEAM

Our junior team trains each Wednesday and works towards 2-3 local competitions and one interstate competition for the year. They also have multiple performance opportunities. These dancers are aged between 8 and 12 and alongside their infinity training must be doing a minimum of these prescribed classes: 1 x Ballet | 1 x Contemporary | 1 x Jazz | 1 x Acro.

SENIOR INFINITY PERFORMANCE TEAM

Our senior team trains each Tuesday and works towards 2-3 local competitions and one interstate competition for the year, as well as attending one major interstate event such as Australian Dance Festival in Sydney. This team also has multiple performance opportunities. These dancers are aged 12 and above, and alongside their infinity training must be doing a minimum of these prescribed classes: 2 x Ballet | 1 x Contemporary | 1 x Jazz | 1 x Acro.

The Infinity program is all about empowering our students. We ensure this by using enriching language and by building nurturing and supportive connections. It is important that all students, parents and teachers adhere to this culture.
